Former Auntie Boss actress Nyce Wanjeri has denied that she is the lady in a sex tape doing rounds on social media.

On Tuesday the inter-webs were abuzz with news that Kenyan actress Nyce Wanjeri’s sex tape had leaked and true to it the lady in the video looks a lot like her.

The actress took to social media platform Instagram to defend herself saying she is not the lady in question.

“Gosh, is this how my new year begins just after celebrating my birthday?! I’m told the internet was on fire with speculation of if that is indeed me in that tape” she said

She added that she is not the lady in question and went on to urge netizens to cut the lady some slack.

“Please, that lady currently being exposed, insulted, objectified and embarrassed is not me. And I really feel for her, I would never wish this on my worst enemy. When you trust someone with your vulnerability and they do something like this, it destroys a part of you. I really hope she is able to recover from this. s for myself, thank you fans, family and friends for the inboxes of concern . I appreciate you more as some took this as an opportunity to insult, ridicule and humiliate me by sending very damning and unmentionable messages” she added

Her issue comes just days after media personality Ella Wanjiru found herself in a tight spot after a jilted lover released her sex tape online.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has paid a visit to Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso who has been admitted in hospital in London.

Raila was accompanied by Kenya’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Manoah Esipisu.

“In London, H.E. @RailaOdinga accompanied by Kenya’s High Commissioner to the U.K Manoah Esipisu visited Bomet Governor Dr. Joyce Laboso who is recovering at a hospital in London. They wished the Governor a quick recovery,” The ODM Party tweeted.

Laboso had last month communicated that she will be on medical leave. She however did not state what she was ailing from.

Kenyans On Twitter have however gone ham on the governor criticising her for seeking medical attention at an overseas hospital while she would have made hospitals in her county better.

Some further criticised her for building a bridge worth Ksh 6 Million which collapsed instead of channeling the funds to better projects.

“Those Shring these photos of Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso Vs Bomet Residents are not being Fair at all… In all Manner of fairness we have different social classes in every society. Other people are more equal… She should however work to improve standards back home, ” tweeted @snNyamao

“Governor Joyce Laboso went to seek medical attention in London because, to her, going to Longisa Referral Hospital would be suicidal. She governs establishments in which she has no faith,” said @Murimi Mwihaki.

More than 30,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are set to benefit financially from a newly launched project by the Ministry of Trade and Industrialization.

The project dubbed Kenya Industry and Entrepreneurship Project will see more than 2000 firms financed with the Ksh.5 Billion Loan from World Bank.

Stephen Odua KIEP’s Project Coordinator says that the project’s main aim is to strengthen start-ups and SMEs in the country.

Ouda says that Initially, similar projects have been paralyzed due to lack of innovative skills and low productivity.

Speaking during the launch at a hotel in Nairobi, the World Bank Country Director for Kenya, Eritrea and Uganda Mr. Fellipe

Jaramillo said that the global innovation index identifies Kenya as a large global economic forum.

The project will run for a period of six years and will cut across all the 47 counties.

The Monday night fire at Malik Heights apartment was an act of police, this is according to police investigations.

Police say CCTV footage reviewed by detectives show a man walking into the building with a jerrycan of flammable susbtance.

The man who is former broker for the Al Husein Motors Limited is then seen sprinkling the substance on the parking lot of the building.

The man has been identified as Abdirizak Yusuf Adow.

In the surveillance footage, Adow is also seen igniting the fire before running towards the nearest staircase and out of the business complex.

AlHusein Motors has reported a loss of approximately Ksh 600 Million from the fire.

More than 60 vehicles were reportedly burnt down in the inferno

Gianni Infantino was elected as FIFA President for a second term in Paris on Wednesday, it has been announced.

The 49-year-old was the only candidate for the election and the traditional vote was replaced by a round of applause at FIFA’s 69th congress.

Infantino was first chosen as President in February 2016 following the major corruption scandal at football’s world governing body that led to the resignation of Sepp Blatter.

He was tasked with restoring FIFA’s reputation following the scandal that rocked the game.

Infatino used his opening speech to list his achievements since taking over at an extraordinary congress in 2016.

Reflecting on how far FIFA has come in three years and four months, Infantino said: “Today nobody is talking about crisis, nobody is talking about rebuilding from scratch, nobody is talking about corruption.

“We have turned things around. FIFA has gone from being toxic, almost criminal, to what it should be, an organisation that develops and cares about football.”

In his closing speech, Infantino thanked the delegates from FIFA’s 211 member associations for their support and promised he would ‘not stand still’ but would continue to develop the game and ‘defend football’.

His priorities would be the creation of more youth competitions, a continued push on women’s football, more investment in technology and the organisation of a ‘world convention on football development’.

Gospel artiste Guardian Angel has refuted allegations that he has a baby mama.

The whole rumor was ignited by a post he had left on his social media platforms a few weeks back.

According to the post, Guardian Angel said he relates with being a parent something that left his online fans with questions.

“You never know the love of a parent until you become one.” he wrote

The singer now says the quote is just something he picked from Google and felt someone in his online circle would relate to.

He also said the quote related with him especially because of the situation with his dad.

“That was just a quote i picked up from Google. I thought the quote related with my situation especially with the reunion with my dad. most of these quotes we use don’t relate to us,its just something you share because you know most people will relate to it.” he said

Guardian Angel maintains that, if he had a baby mama he would not hide her or the baby.

The singer in a social media post on Wednesday, morning said there was no turning back for him.

”No turning back, I want to see my die-hard fans supporting this motion. Do what you feel and think is right,” he wrote

Willy Paul has for the longest time been a headliner especially because most of his online critics have always felt that he is tarnishing the gospel industry’ s image.

For a while now the singer’s critics have dared him to come clean and declare himself a secular artiste, something he has never done.

After dropping his songs Mmmh and Halleluya featuring Tanzanians Nandy and Rayvanny most of his fans felt he is very good on the secular scene that in Gospel.

Tanzanian singer Benpol is not playing when it comes to his woman Anerlisa Muigai.

According to a video on his Youtube channel, Benpol for the first time revealed that he has dated Anerlisa for almost a year and a half and not just a few months as most people think.

When a fan asked him how open the two of them are with each other and if he reads her direct messages, Benpol responded saying he knows of celebrities who have been hitting on Anerlisa in her inbox.

According to the singer, Kenyan rapper Khaligraph and Tanzanians Shettah and Harmonize are some of the celebrities he’s caught slidding into Anerlisa’s DM.

Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko was last night kicked out of the JKL Show on Citizen TV.

Sonko was unceremoniously let go by the Show Host Jeff Koinange over what Jeff described as editorial and quality control.

“Due to standards and quality control here at Royal Media Services Governor it looks like we cannot continue with this interview,” Jeff told Sonko

While Citizen did not state the exact reason why Sonko was kicked out of the show, it is deemed that Sonko’s ungraceful remarks about Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris got him kicked out of the show.

“Hata mimi ni bwana ya mtu na akikuja (Esther Passaris) hapa nitamuuliza kwanini ananiita Intercontinental kwa room”… we want leaders who respect families” Said Sonko.

Before making the remarks Sonko had previously shown Sonko a private conversation between him and Passaris to which Jeff unsuccessfully attempted to stop him.

At some point Jeff had to invoke the name of his director Monica in order to have Sonko stop but he did not stop.

Boda boda operators in Umoja 3 in Embakasi West Constituency are decrying harassment by police in the area.

The operators claim that police officers attached to Mowlem Police Post are taking advantage of the new boda boda laws to unlawfully extort money from them.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio News the operators claim that the officers are demanding Ksh. 5,000 from them despite them complying with all the rules regulations.

They are calling on Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i to take action against the officers.

Kisumu Governor Professor Anyang’ Nyong’o is planning to launch a water project to serve the people of Seme Constituency in Kisumu County.

Nyongo says Seme constituency has been experiencing water shortage despite being located in a region near Lake Victoria.

‘’Cities where we don’t have piped water or boreholes or where for some reason drinkable water is not available water tanks can then be used so that all health facilities cannot go without water,’’ Prof Anyang Nyongo said.

The project will see water supplied in hospitals in the area then to the villages.

According to Nyong’o the project will entail installing water tanks and also drill boreholes in order to serve villages that do not have access to safe and drinkable water.

Nairobi City Governor Mike Sonko has issued orders to cancel procurement of official vehicles for top county officials.

Sonko says the Sh. 400 million budget allocated for the purchase of top range vehicles in the 2019/2020 financial year will now be diverted for the purchase of ambulances for Nairobi County health centers, construction of roads and regeneration of Nairobi River.

The Governor has said for the interest of Nairobi residents, there is need to allocate more funds for development projects rather than purchase of vehicles for the Nairobi City County Government officials.

“City Hall has enough vehicles to serve county officials for the next financial year. There is no need to allocate millions of funds to purchase brand new vehicles yet we can reallocate vehicles to our departments to ensure we continue serving Nairobians without a hitch,” said Sonko.

Speaking during the 46th World Environment Day that was held at the Railway Training Institute in South B estate, Starehe Sub-County, Sonko said the budget will now be reallocated for the purchase of ambulances for Nairobi County health centers, construction and rehabilitation of roads and regeneration of Nairobi River.

On Thursday, KTN journalist Mary Kilobi walked into COTU offices to surprise her husband Francis Atwoli as he turned a year older.

Kilobi walked into the office carrying a huge cake singing birthday songs to her husbae.

Kilobi also took to social media to pen a sweet message to her bae showering him with sweet nothings.

“May the Almighty God continue to bless you, Keep you strong, Healthy and Happy and May He watch over you for us! @FrancisAtwoli Ebs Mbs. Unapendwa Ajabu! Happy birthday Mr Amazing!” wrote Mary Kilobi

Atwoli also revealed via Facebook page that his young wife Mary Kilobi surprised him with a brand new Mercedes Benz.

“Today I turned a year older, wiser and more energetic. My only dear wife surprised me at my office and presented to me keys to a brand new 2019 Mercedes Benz CLA- class” he said

Atwoli and Kilobi went public about their relationship sometime in 2018.

The COTU boss had once revealed on JKL that he met Kilobi 13 years ago and vowed to marry her someday.

Mercy Atieno a woman who stole a baby from Pumwani Maternity Hospital is currently serving a one year sentence at the Industrial Area Prison.

Atieno was last month slapped with a one year sentence or a fine of Ksh. 300,000 by the Makadara Court.

She was charged with stealing a one day old baby at the Pumwani Maternity , a charge to which she pleaded guilty to.

Atieno before the court confessed that she actually stole the baby and that it was pressure from her husband who needed a child.

The child belonged to 35-year-old Rebecca Kasaya Ayiro who delivered and was recovering.

According to Pumwani Maternity health administrator Geoffrey Mosiria they won the case and the lady admitted to committing the offence.

‘‘We can confirm that Pumwani proved their case and Mercy was fined three hundred thousand by the court for the offence.’’Mosiria stated.

According to him they have nothing to do beyond court and that Mercy should serve as an example to those who have been stealing babies in Pumwani.

She further stated that they have incorporated the police to ensure Pumwani is under 24 hour surveillance.

‘‘The national police service has given us enough police officers who are here all the time, we have also tightened our internal security by not allowing any of our clients to access the facility without authority from our offices.’’ He added.

Two Police Officers, Civilians Arrested Over Extortion

Police on Thursday arrested five suspects for allegedly harassing and extorting money from people.

The five include two Administration Police Officers and three other people who were impersonating National Environment and Management Authority.

Police identified them as Corporal Benson Njoroge Mburu of Kiamumbi AP Post, Constable Margaret Maina of Kamiti Corner AP Post, Mr. Duncan Njogu Mukono, Ms. Grace Wambui Ndungu AND Ms. Purity Mumbi Njagi.

One suspect escaped and is being sought by Detectives.

The five were extorting money from people who failed NEMA requirements.

The five suspects had already received money from more than three complainants.

One of the suspects Duncan Njogu had received Ksh 25,000 from one of the complainants.

The Kwale County NEMA Officers confirmed that the suspects were not their officers.

A Nissan Tiida was confiscated.

Residents from Nairobi’s Kariobangi South are complaining over the influx of low quality Potatoes famously known as waru from Tanzania.

Residents say the low quality potatoes have been making their way into the country from Namanga all the way to kariobango South.

Ramadhan of Tesa Tesa Food joint in Kariobangi South says the potatoes from Tanzania do not cook easily.

He says many of his customers have been complaining over the potatoes adding that they do not make good quality fries.

“When i use this potatoes to make fries sometimes the potatoes turn out raw leaving questions to the customer and most of the time affecting our businesses.” He adds.

Origi sealed the Reds’ sixth European Cup in Madrid on Saturday night with a clinical low finish that wrapped up a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Sent on as a substitute at Estadio Metropolitano, the goal was the latest in a series of crucial strikes by the Belgian, who had netted twice in the semi-final comeback against FC Barcelona.

Origi made only cameo appearances for Liverpool last season, but made some incredibly important contributions.

Origi wants to enjoy the emotions of being European champions before looking ahead to next season but admits winning the Premier League will be a target again.

Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol says the Reds should sell Champions League hero Divock Origi because he doesn’t make the squad better.

Origi, who agreed terms on a move to Liverpool in 2014 and joined the club a year later, was also asked about his long-term future and the prospect of signing a new contract.

The forward is very much in the good books of every Reds supporter on the planet right now, but Nicol reckons he should be moved on.

Speaking on ESPN, Nicol said: “For Liverpool’s sake, they should get rid of him, let him go, depends on how harsh or nicely you want to put it.

Origi says that he will speak with the club and his entourage internally and then in future make public what they decide.

Origi has linked up with the Belgium squad for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Scotland.
