Gospel star Mr. Seed has been forced to respond after online users kept tagging him on posts involving Peter Blessing.

Peter Blessing has been on top of the trending topics after his former boss Bahati had him arraigned in court for allegedly stealing from him.

Bahati accused Peter Blessing of acquiring two million shilling from his record label under false pretence.

On Tuesday 28th, Peter Blessing was arraigned in court and was released on a cash 200k bail.

Following Blessing’s release, fans asked Mr. Seed to help the embattled star, however Mr. Seed says all he can do is pray for the 20 year old.

Mr. Seed also revealed that he has never met the young man from Taita Taveta.

Gikomba traders are counting loses once again after a fire razed down goods worth hundreds of thousands in an incident that occurred  on  Saturday morning.

According Ben Kivai who is one of the affected businessman, they did not rescue anything  in the tragedy  that has for the third time  left them with huge loses.

‘‘we woke up in the morning and found all our goods razed to ashes, am  experiencing this for the third time all my goods are gone.’’Kivai said.

Another trader however,commended the fire brigade and Red cross team for arriving on time though there were no routes heading to the scene.

‘‘The fire fighters tried to infiltrate but its unfortunate that we do not have proper  access to the market, and something need to be done very fast.’’ He said.

Meanwhile Nairobi County Government Chief Officer  in charge of disaster management  Ann Mwendwa  says they have launched investigation to establish the cause of the fire and its losses.

This is not the first time  fire has cuased loses at the populous  Gikomba Market leaving traders believing that we cartels in business competition and land grabbers are responsible for their woes.

Controversial singer Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee has revealed that she does not pamper orphaned children, and with good reason.

The singer took to social media to reveal that she has had her fair share of people who play the orphaned card to live on handouts.

Taking to social media, Akothee narrated how for one to live with her, they have to make sure they are ready to work their bottoms off.

“I have a big heart but a no-nonsense, i don’t pamper orphans, you can’t be singing you are an orphan at the age of 25, yet your mjulubeng is doing rounds, my friend. Does it mean if your parents were still alive you would still be depending on them?  If i take you as my child and you live with me, get ready to work your ass off just like i do, i don’t owe you success, no pity party corner in my home, i kick my kids’ ass too so you won’t be special!” She said

Akothee went on to reveal how she had to throw out two men from her house after they misused her household stuff and left her in debt.

“Late last year, i kicked out 2 grown men from my home! I have heard a few complaints that they were suffering in my homes! Who was suffering them yet i don’t even live in those homes. I am also suffering in the planes and hotels, running away from poverty! They could not even clean the instead, they threw them away, workers could not touch them they could not be told anything, they are msanii. I took them to driving schools, i haven’t seen the license until now. Bed sheets or towels they used. Come December, i and my children hardly had towels or bed sheets to use , i had to shop afresh.One of them was to shoot a music video, i asked him to go get clothes for the video from a friend of mine who sells cloths before we shot the video i fell ill and got admitted. He ended up using the cloths for his showbiz, and before i knew it, i was slapped with the bill before the video was shot and all the clothes already on shoshomedia. I arrived in my home and not even the poultry was attended too, most died and the farm was all bushy, which had food that i planted myself for them, so in peace.I released them with a lot of pain in my heart, gave them money and ask them to leave me in peace” she added

Steven Bergwijn’s debut goal helped Tottenham to a remarkable 2-0 win over 10-man Manchester City on Sunday to breathe new life into their challenge for a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho’s men had been completely outplayed for the first hour, but were kept in the game by City’s profligacy and Hugo Lloris’s first-half penalty save from Ilkay Gundogan.

However, Oleksandr Zinchenko’s sending off changed the course of the game as Spurs scored with their first two shots on goal through Bergwijn and Son Heung-min.

Victory lifts Spurs up to fifth, just four points off fourth-placed Chelsea.

Bergwijn, signed earlier this week from PSV Eindhoven, capped a dream debut as he chested down Lucas Moura’s pass and volleyed past Ederson.

“As a little kid I wanted to be here and play in the Premier League, so to score on my debut is unbelievable,” said Bergwijn.

Eight minutes later, Spurs were out of sight when Son, who scored three times in a famous Champions League quarterfinal win over City last season, was the scourge of City again with a fine low finish from Tanguy Ndombele’s pass.

The event which went down on 1st February, was also hit with many controversies with many alleging that Kenyan journalists were kicked put of the event.Prior to the event, her man, Diamond Platnumz flew back home to attend to a ‘family emergency’ and missed the event all together.
The event which marked the launch of her Extended play dubbed ‘DonnatellatheEP’ also did not meet fan’s expectations.

Many who attended the gig took to social media to complain arguing that the lass looked like she was not well prepared for the gig.
Tanasha is now saying she could do better if she had enough time to prepare for her performance.

“Could be better, but for a first with only 2 days rehearsals. i did my best! I know next time will keep getting better! ” read Tanasha’s response after a fan asked her what she thought about her performance.
Many however still argue that, since she has been promoting the gig for an entire month, the least she could have done is to wow the crowd.

Undercover cop Hessy Wa Dandora is in hot pursuit of a suspected notorious thug who was once sprayed with several bullets but managed to recover and is now back in crime.

The suspect known as Duncan Ochieng was once shot six times last year by police officers in Dandora but did not die.

Hessy says that the incident happened after Ochieng fired a bullet at police officers who were pursuing him for robbery.

“The incident took place late last year within Dandora, it was around 2am. On that day, he fired one bullet at police officers then akapatana nazo zile mzito then jumped into Nairobi, izo mashimo zikajaa maji ya sewage but the guy survived, ” wrote Hessy.

According to Hessy, the suspect did not even rest. He says that he instead extended his areas of operation from Dandora to Sunton and Kasarani areas.

“Its very unfortunate that he’s still alive, coz am sure he will be back soon and more lethal. Very unfortunate! ” he further wrote.

Word on the street has it that thugs have always sought the help of witch-doctors to protect themselves from the police and bullets.

One reformed thug who spoke to Ghetto Radio says that some witch doctors visited by these thugs live in Nairobi while others are operating from the countryside.

Incidents of police officers recovering juju paraphernalia from bodies of these suspects have also been witnessed in the country.

Some thugs have however always sought divine intervention before even going for robbery missions.

This is seen as most have always switched religion from Christianity to Muslim, a situation that once saw a Muslim Kadhi in Majengo slums in Nairobi area state that he will never preside over a burial of a slain suspected thug.

The Kenya Film and Classification Board will tomorrow launch a crackdown down on Matatu vehicles playing obscene music and video.

Notorious routes named by the board include Langata- Magadi road,Eastleigh route,Thika road,Mombasa road and Jogoo road.

KFCB Chief Executive Officer Ezekiel Mutua says that the  move is geared towards weeding out what the board terms as “rot” affecting morality among the youth.

Addressing the media Mutua stated that the gloves are off and the police plus KFCB officials will be on the road to ensure that is effected.

“The Inspector General has already given a directive to all commanders to ensure those violating the same are arrested.. But we don’t want the same to disrupt public transport,” he said.

The offence attracts Ksh. 100,000 fine or five years imprisonment.

A few days ago, Ohangla singer Lady Maureen hit the headlines after she was rushed to the hospital.

The singer who has been in and out of hospital for some time, has been admitted at Pastor Machage Memorial Hospital.

In a recent interview, Lady Maureen revealed that she is having financial issues and that many people have abandoned her.

“I was admitted here last week and doctors found out I had very low blood levels. I am currently undergoing numerous blood transfusion sessions to keep me strong,” she said.

Following the news of her plight, singer Akothee has come to her rescue and even moved her to a better facility.

Akothee revealed that the ailing singer needed several pints of blood and called on her fans to help out.

In a recent post, Akothee shared how the singer has been facing challenges in hospital with the doctors taking her family in circles.

“Thank you so much, we got donors from Migori and Kisii, now the story has changed, the hospital has said, time has elapsed and no one is in the laboratory to conduct the donation process. Doctors have left for the weekend and will be back on Monday,” she said

Akothee has once again rallied her army to help clear the ailing singer’s hospital bill.

Lady Maureen was rumored to have passed on, forcing her to speak out in order to dispel the rumors.

Gospel singer Kevin Bahati known synonymously as Bahat has finally cleared the air on the controversy surrounding him and Peter Blessing.

In a video shared on his YouTube Channel, Bahati for the first time disclosed that he had Peter Blessing arrested to counter Blessing’s demand letter that had been served to him through his lawyers from Karanja, Mbatiey and Associates Advocates .

According to the EMB President, Peter was the first one to serve him a letter, demanding a total of Sh1 Million shillings as royalties from the songs he recorded while at his recording label.

“We are in the knowledge that his songs are hit songs and they have accumulated millions across various platforms like Skiza. To preclude acrimony, our initial instructions are that our client be paid amount of Ksh 1, 000, 000/- within the next (14) days. Take notice that within Fourteen (14) days from the date of this letter, if you fail to pay the said Ksh 1, 000, 000 to our client as demanded, out of instructions are to institute legal proceedings against you in a Court of law without any further reference to you and at your own peril as to costs and all consequences attend thereto” reads part of the letter from the Karanja, Mbatiey and Associates Advocates to Bahati.

Bahati revealed that Blessing did not officially terminate his contract with EMB records before announcing that he was leaving.

The singer also revealed that Blessing’s songs had not made much money at EMB to warrant being paid one million.

According to Bahati, Peter Blessing’s songs only accumulated Ksh.507 on music platform Skiza.

“Guys I had no power, kwanza huyu amedemand pesa hatujawahi make na music yake. On Skiza tunes alone since August when his first song was uploaded Blessing had only made Sh507. But out there nimejitajirisha na pesa yake. I was unable to stop the management form pursuing the rule of law because there is a contract signed, agreed and commissioned. The reason we had to start the case was the only way I could proof that there is breach of contract. The other boys breached the contract but I never acted, they know.” He said

Bahati also added that the young singer was incited by the uncle to exit EMB records

“We had agreed that if there is an exit we do it formerly, come write a termination letter, talk to his uncle, but before we meet he was told Bahati ni vitisho tu. A contract unless you exit the formal way, he kutrend yote, hata hawezi imba, so ant time they are ready they can contact my legal team so that we get a solution from there” he added

On February 28th, Blessing was released on a cash bail of Sh200K, after being sued by Bahati on grounds of obtaining Sh2, 039, 000 through false pretense while at EMB Records.

A Landlord in Nairobi’s Kibera slums yesterday evicted a mother and her seven children from their house over rent arrears.

The Landlord only known to us as Zena reportedly used a group of gangs to throw Mary Safu out in the wee hours of the morning.

Child protection officer Humphrey Lando who was called to intervene on the case states that the landlord claimed that the Safu was selling illegal brew in the house.

Lando said that the landlord could however not substantiate the claims.

On the other hand  Safu claimed that she is being thrown out of the house over rent arrears of two months which in total amounts to Ksh. 5,000.

Lando together with the area chief however intervened on the issue and and the lady was taken back to her house.

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has given a heartfelt tribute to his late father Retired President Gideon Moi.

Gideon who spoke shortly after Uhuru announced Moi’s death stated that he was by his father’s side when he breathed his last.

“Mzee passed on this morning at 5.20. He passed away peacefully, I was by his side and as a family we accept it. And mine is just to give a heartfelt gratitude for the prayers” said Gideon.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, issued  presidential proclamation announcing the death of Moi on Tuesday.

Moi died at the Nairobi Hospital. His body has been transferred to Lee Funeral Home.

Family members and friends of the late former president trooped at the Lee Funeral Home to view the body of Mzee Moi.

Interior and Internal Security Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i and KANU Secretary General Nick Salat were among public figures who arrived at the Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday morning.

An online publication published a story claiming that Rue Baby and MCA tricky had been involved in a grizzly accident in the company of three others.

“Comedian ,MCA Tricky, Rue Baby and three others were involved in a grizzly car crash in Kikope according to a report from the traffic police. The report states that the comedian was driving at a high speed when he lost control of the vehicle went off the road and rolled down several times” read part of the article

Following the news, Akothee came to narrate how the news affected her and left her stressed.

According to Akothee, she tried reaching her daughter who was not picking her calls because she was in class.

Tanzanian netizens are an  angry lot after an upcoming artiste faked his death to promoter a new song.

The singer, Meja Kunta’s manager took to social media on Sunday to pen how the singer had died in an accident on his way to a performance.

The manager alleged that the singer was to stage a performance at Mziki Munene concert in Tanga before the tragedy happened.

On Monday, however the manager made a u-turn on Meja Kunta’s death stating that the singer is still alive and regrets earlier reports that had announced his death.

Former Chelsea and Tottenham striker Eidur Gudjohnsen believes Manchester United’s signing of Odion Ighalo on loan demonstrates that they are no longer an attractive proposition for the very best forwards.

United were linked with a whole host of top strikers during the January transfer window, including PSG’s Edinson Cavani and Moussa Dembele of Lyon, but ended up making a shock move for former Watford player Ighalo, who they signed from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua until the end of the season.

Gudjohnsen said the Ighalo deal smelled of desperation, and shows that United can no longer attract world-class talent.

He added: “I don’t think any of the best strikers are eager to join United anymore.”

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink says Ighalo, who has played in China since January 2017, is unlikely to have even been a third choice target for United.

“He must be the luckiest man! Going to China, being away from Europe nobody seeing him for two and a half years since he was at Watford and then getting a loan move at United,” he said.

“It says how far behind United are from Liverpool, Manchester City and even Chelsea. They have got a big job ahead.

“They needed somebody in. I think he was not their number one and I would be surprised if he was their number two or three as well.

“He is getting an opportunity and he will definitely get minutes and we will see if he can do it.”

Hasselbaink also says United’s struggles in the transfer market are even harder to understand after they sold Romelu Lukaku last summer and loaned Alexis Sanchez both to Inter Milan.

He added: “They knew that they needed a new striker for a long time. I don’t know how much money that they have but it is Manchester United.

“Why, if you need goals straight away, are you not throwing money at [Danny] Ings for instance? He is flying is at the moment.

“Or [Raul] Jimenez at Wolves – throw money at that. You were in the market for [Erling Braut] Haaland. He chose Dortmund!

President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolences to the families of the 14 Kakamega Primary School pupils who died on Monday evening following a stampede.

Uhuru who is out of the country also wished the injured children a quick recovery and ordered for a thorough investigation to establish the cause of the incident.

Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha yesterday stated that investigations into the incident were already going on but could however not say if the school will be closed.

Fourteen pupils died on the tragic incident and another 39 pupils were injured when a stampede occurred just when the pupils were leaving class for home.

Those who were injured were rushed and treated at the Kakamega Referral Hospital.

In the period of 2016, Harambee Starlets have qualified and played in the African Women Cup of Nations (Awcon), reached the penultimate round of 2020 Olympics qualifiers, and won the 2019 Cecafa Senior Women Championship.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio Sports Nabwire who was the first Woman to play professional Football in Europe has said that she counts herself lucky as there was no support for the girls back then.

“Getting a chance to play professional football in Europe was not possible as there was no league running, the national team was only constituted a few days to a match a situation that is not conducive for the sport,” she said.

“To make matters worse we only met once in a year for national team assignments,” the former FC Zwolle from Netherlands and 1 FC Köln from Germany lamented.

Doreen who is the Women’s Football Development Officer said that consistency has given the girls exposure that has gotten them opportunities to move abroad.

Among the ladies that have moved abroad include midfielder Vivian Corazon Odhiambo, who joined Atlético Madrid Women’s Team.

The Spanish team offered Vivian a two-year deal after influential performances for Harambee Starlets during the Tokyo 2020 qualifiers.

Goalkeeper Annedy Kundu and Defender Ruth Ingosi landed professional deals in Cyprus.

Kundu had a stellar performance in the 2019 Cecafa Women’s Championship having not conceded a goal in competition, which earned her the golden glove award.

The two left the country on Friday, January 17 to join women’s side Lakatamia FC on a three-year deal.

Mwanahalima Dogo is another prolific player who has been very key in the National team in recent days has becoming one of the top players in the national women’s football team on the verge of joining Swedish top-flight side Djurgardens IF DFF.

The Starlets striker will undergo trials at the club.

The team under the tutelage of Coach David Ouma Ouma, are now in preparation for the forthcoming 2020 African Women Cup of Nations in March.
